The last time we went to Bali, we spent a night at my friend's villa, located in Umalas. We, us parent and kids, enjoyed the villa very very much. It got 2 large bedrooms, living room slash chill area, dining area, kitchen, and a pool. The main bedroom got an open air bathroom, with shower and bathtub, which I love love love. Everything about this villa is spacious and homey.
We arrived just around sunset, greeted by Tim & Ade, our good friends who owned the villa, the the kids jumped straight to the pool. Yes, it was getting dark, but the air was so humid that day and the pool was so inviting. So we let them chill in the pool until well passed 7, when they finally got hungry. The original plan was to go out and have dinner, but we got too tired after our trip to Ubud that day, so we decided to order some pizza and just stayed at the villa. I was a bit worried that the delivery guy won't make it to the villa, or took a long time to get there, since the pizza place was in Double Six, not actually near Umalas. But he made it to our gate in 30 minutes, warm pizza and lasagna in hand. Yay!
That night we just laid low, and enjoyed the villa, the went to bed. The kids got their own room, and me & hubby got the main bedroom. Aidan was a little uneasy about sleeping in the second bedroom alone with kakak Aira, since the room not really connected with our room, separated by the pool. But once he got under the canopied bed, he instantly fell asleep.
Early in the morning, two excited kids knocked at our door, ready to jump in the pool. It's not even 7 yet, but they dragged us to join them. And guess what, the water was pretty warm. The great thing was we don't have to share to pool with anyone else, and the kids can jump, splash, swim, scream without anybody getting annoyed. We enjoyed the pool until it was too late for a breakfast, so we took a bath and off we went to Corner Shop for a brunch. That afternoon the kids didn't really want to leave the villa, but we had to move to another hotel where hubby's conference was going to be held. So they made us promised that the next time we go to Bali we will stay at Chill Villa again, and they won't settled for one night, 3 nights at the least. x)
So if you ever want to go to Bali, with friends or family, do try to contact Chill Villa. We had a great time while we stayed there with the kids. It was a great place if you had kids, or baby. Or if you just wanna chill with your friends. The location was great, you could still see paddi fields around Umalas. Not in a crowd area, to my liking, but still near enough if you want to go out and enjoy Seminyak.
